The Potty

So as most of you know awhile back we posted about Koa recognizing the feelings of going to the bathroom. We haven't really worked on potty training her AT ALL, but we did get the potty out for her when she told us that she had to go to the bathroom. This week she went to the bathroom on her potty 3 times!!!! Yesterday she walked into the bathroom with a book and I decided to go ahead and put her on the potty and sure enough she went. Today she went into the bathroom and actually said she had to go and sure enough she did! Its amazing because she is pretty much training herself because we haven't even talked about the whole potty training process because we figured we had awhile, but apparently she is ready. We are not pushing her, but we sure are praising her when she goes!

Also, she has an elmo that has a potty (much like the picture above) and after she went to the bathroom today she had us clap for Elmo because he went to the bathroom also :)
